This iconic episode is where Mark descibes "the Assignment".
Everything Mark has done has been amazing. But this session is beyond amazing. Mark has taken us to another level. We all now have an assignment. Mark spends the first 40 minutes or so setting everything up for us for the assignment, and then for the next 15 minutes he gives us the assignment. Finally we spend another 30 minutes or so with Q&A and just plain networking.
The assignment Mark gives could be life changing for some of us. We have a chance to complete a research project for a piece of land that we choose that we will submit to Mark and the EAT Leadership when we are done that they will review, critique, and grade. They will suggest edits to us and then review it with us.
The results of our research report can form the basis of a design for the future restoration development of the property we have assessed. This kind of a process is possibly less detailed and rigorous than we would normally pay Mark or others to perform, but if we are really dedicated, it could be more rigorous. If that is the case, we would be saving potentially $4000 - $10,000 of costs that we might normally pay to other professionals.
